This narrative is a Garfield comic strip. The purpose of this comic strip is to be comedy. The audience is Garfield fans and other people seeking quick entertainment. The Rhetorical appeal used is pathos because the author is trying to appeal to the audience sense of humor. The media and mode used is visual, digital and physical because it it is a picture that can be looked at online somewhere but also be printed out and posted in a news paper or something. This piece can easily be turned into a short television show. The characters are already known so you would only have to make a scene where Garfield's owner gets sleepy, he yawns then he goes to tuck in Garfield goodnight. Then he goes to tuck in Pooky and Opie Goodnight and on his way to the kitchen he hears an noise coming from the kitchen. The noise he hears is made by Garfield who is standing at the fridge with a ham in his hand. When asked "What are you doing" Garfield replies "Tucking in the leftover, The end. It could be all that simple to turn this narrative into a short television show.
