Persuasive Genre

The purpose of this persuasive genre is to emphasize why homework should be banned from school. The audience of this genre is anyone in authority at schools so teacher, principals and other administrators. The Rhetorical appeals used in this genre is pathos and logos because the author of this uses emotion and specific evidence as to why homework should be banned form schools. The media and mode of of this is physical visual and digital because the picture could be printed out and used as like a sign or something for an school administrator to physically read but also digital because as you can see above you can just read the the message from a digital source like social media or any other website the image may appear like google or something. The design of this genre is effective because the font looks like a kid made it and the spacing of the paragraphs makes it clean and easy to read. The image of the hand drawn and colored houses at the top also make the message seem more friendly and childish emphasizing the fact that this is a message from a child. This piece can be turned into a cartoon. Maybe by having alittle kid get assigned a homework assignment then he get mad goes home and writes this letter to his principal and teacher. Then returns to school the next day and hand the letter to the two of them.
